Imagine a ready made weekly meal plan - five week-night recipes with a full shopping list for busy families.  The meals are quick and easy to prepare after work, they are all healthy and provide a balanced diet for an active family.  Ingredients are readily available at your local supermarket.  A weekly meal plan costs only $2.50 or less (see the Order Page).


THIS WEEK'S STAR RECIPE - Cajun Steaks with Mango Salsa

Prep:  20 mins    Cook:  10 mins  

Make the salsa ahead of time to make this week night meal even quicker!

Cajun seasoning
1 tspn minced garlic
Beef steak for each serve
Thick sliced crusty bread (sour dough is good)
Lettuce
 
Mango Salsa
1 small mango, chopped coarsely
2 tomatoes, chopped coarsely
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 tspn minced garlic
2 tbspns finely chopped basil leaves
1 tbspn balsamic vinegar
 
Make mango salsa, mixing all ingredients together.
Rub seasoning and garlic over steaks, grill or barbecue until cooked as desired.
Meanwhile, toast bread slices and arrange on serving plates with lettuce, beef
and topped with mango salsa.
